Is this approach right for me, and do I need to be spiritual?

I specialize in supporting high-achieving, first gen women and mothers. You don't need to be spiritual or have experience with somatic work to benefit. Whether we use traditional therapy, Reiki, Sound Healing or Biodecoding, our goal is to listen to your nervous system. These modalities are designed to complement, not replace, your medical care.

What is your fee, and do you take insurance?

Accepted Answer

Psychotherapy fee: $200 per session.

In Network Insurance: I'm currently in-network  with Optum Behavioral Health,  (California). Please note that insurance benefits strictly cover standard psychotherapy  ("talk therapy") is the only service eligible for insurance reimbursement. Holistic modalities such as Reiki and Sound Healing are self-pay services only.

Out of Network Benefits: If you have a different insurance carriers (PPO), you may be eligible for reimbursement. To make this process seamless, I partner with  Mentaya to automatically file out-of-network claims for you. This allows you to focus on your healing while I handle the paperwork.

Why invest? Many clients find that investing in specialized, generational healing is the key to finally breaking survival patterns. Work that often goes deeper than what standard insurance models allow.

Question 3

I feel a bit of "guilt" spending this much on myself. Is that normal?

Accepted Answer

For the women I work with, the cycle breakers, the strong ones, and the first-gen daughters, investing in yourself can feel like a radical and sometimes uncomfortable act. You are used to carrying everyone else's needs first.

I invite you to view this not as a "cost", but as a generational investment. When you soften the patterns of chronic stress and survival within yourself, you aren't just changing your own life. You are changing the legacy you pass down. you are teaching the next generation that their well-being is worth the investment, too.

Why do you choose to be a primarily self-pay practice?

Accepted Answer

To prioritize your care over paperwork. By remaining primarily out-of-network, I am able to offer a higher level of personalized, trauma informed care that isn't dictated by insurance companies. This allows our work to be as long, as deep, and as frequent as you need it to be, not what insurance allows.

How do you make this more accessible?

Accepted Answer

I utilize Mentaya to take the administrative weight off your shoulders. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya handles your claim submissions automatically, so you can receive reimbursement directly to your bank account without the paperwork headache.

How long are session and do you offer telehealth?

Accepted Answer

Session length and frequency depend on the service and your needs. This can be discussed during your consultation so we can find a rhythm that feels supportive and sustainable.

At the beginning of therapy, we will meet weekly to build a therapeutic alliance. Building a therapeutic relationship will help me understand you, get to know you and your world to be of better support. Continuing weekly therapy will help with accountability, progress continuity, and skill development. When your healing begins to feel complete, we may reduce your frequency to support you with ending treatment while maintaining your therapeutic gains.

Question 7

Do you provide crisis services?

Accepted Answer

I am an outpatient provider and do not offer 24/7 crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988, 911, or head to your nearest emergency room.
