Somatic therapy may be helpful if stress, anxiety, or overwhelm show up in your body, such as tension, fatigue, racing thoughts, or feeling shut down. This approach focuses on calming the nervous system and working with your body, not just talking through problems.

The first session is a gentle conversation focused on understanding what you're experiencing and what your body may be holding.

You don't need to know what to say or come prepared. Sessions begin with what your body is already communicating, and we move at a pace that feels steady and manageable.

The first session is spent getting to know you. During the first four weeks, we take time building the relationship. After that, our sessions will look like exploring younger parts, stressors, and/ or sensations to help you develop self-awareness to increase your opportunity to make conscious decisions.

After our sessions, you will practice a skill or an assignment to help you reach your therapeutic goals. To make progress, you will need to put your skills into practice as therapy is only 50 minutes of your week.

I enjoy working with clients who are motivated and curious about creating change. They are open to exploring their internal world and experimenting with somatic interventions to understand how their symptoms are not only physical but also connected to their thoughts and emotions. This mind–body exploration supports deeper processing and healing.

I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, perinatal mental health challenges, relationship issues, and women’s issues.

No. This practice does not offer crisis intervention, emergency care, or on-call support. If you are experiencing an acute mental health crisis, immediate support services are more appropriate.

I am an out-of-network provider for most plans. Many clients are able to use out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement. I can submit a superbill on your behalf to help you receive reimbursement, and support you in reviewing your coverage.

I am in network with Optum Behavioral Health, California. Please note that therapy is the only service eligible for insurance reimbursement. Reiki and Biodecoding are self-pay services only.

Yes. I offer secure telehealth sessions for clients located anywhere in Calfiornia, as well as in-person in La Habra, Ca.

No. Spirituality is never imposed. However, this work honors meaning, intuition, and inner wisdom. If you are strongly opposed to these perspectives, this may not feel aligned.

No. Reiki and Biodecoding are complementary practices. They do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical or mental health conditions and should not replace care from licensed medical professionals.

Reiki is a gentle, energy based practice that supports relaxation, grounding, and nervous system balance. It can be helpful on its own or alongside therapy. Reiki is available throughout the US. We do not involve talk therapy.

Biodecoding is intended to support emotional awareness and nervous system regulation alongside medical treatment, especially for chronic illness or autoimmune conditions. We explore how emotional, ancestral and subconscious patterns may be influencing physical symptoms, chronic stress, or illness. It is offered as an additional layer of support for those interested in mind-body exploration.

Session length and frequency depend on the service and your needs. This can be discussed during your consultation so we can find a rhythm that feels supportive and sustainable.

At the beginning of therapy, we will meet weekly to build a therapeutic alliance. Building a therapeutic relationship will help me understand you, get to know you and your world to be of better support. Continuing weekly therapy will help with accountability, progress continuity, and skill development. When your healing begins to feel complete, we may reduce your frequency to support you with ending treatment while maintaining your therapeutic gains.

Every individual is different. Depending on your personal needs, therapy may last up to 12 weeks. However, many of my clients enjoy the progress they make and choose to continue setting new treatment goals. Some people invest in therapy for 6 months to a year.

The length of treatment depends on the challenges you’re facing, the depth of exploration you’d like to engage in, and your dedication to creating change. That said, most clients begin noticing benefits within the first 6 weeks.
