"I am a mother, daughter, and stepmother with a rich blend of Mexican and Guatemalan heritage. Outside of these roles, I find joy in activities such as dancing and hiking."
Growing up as a first-generation Latina in a single mother household was challenging, yet it fueled my passion for maintaining family unity. I firmly believe that by addressing our own wounds and healing, we alleviate the burdens that future generations might carry. Seeking support offers a pathway to connect with profound emotions within ourselves, such as hope, validation, and the sense of being seen and heard.
At times, we find ourselves grappling with feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and fear of the unknown. Left unattended, these emotions can spiral downward, affecting our relationships, work, and parenting, and leaving us feeling disconnected from ourselves. We may find ourselves hesitant to speak up or neglecting our own needs, perpetuating a cycle of stagnation.
Yet, there are other possibilities. I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of inner work.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, deeply relational, and somatic because I believe that healing occurs within the context of meaningful connections. My primary intention is to foster a safe and collaborative space where you feel empowered to explore your experiences. Not only will we explore your beliefs, but we will also use somatic skills to help you develop awareness of how emotions are stored in your body. If you are up for it, we will also explore inner child work to help heal younger mindsets that are no longer serving you. Together, we navigate through uncomfortable feelings, triggers, and memories at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I support you in developing new skills and strategies, empowering you to break free from unhelpful patterns that may be hindering your ability to experience joy and fulfillment in life.
